Tulsa Hair Society is a hair salon in Tulsa, Oklahoma, operated by THS Salons LLC. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and how long we keep it. It covers our website, our booking system, our text messages, and phone calls to the salon.

1. Information We Collect
When you contact us, book an appointment, or visit our website, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, the service you are interested in, your appointment history with us, and any notes you or your stylist add about your hair. If you book online, our booking provider collects your details on our behalf and we receive them.
If you pay for a service, payment is handled by our booking and payment providers. We do not receive or store your full card number.
When you visit our website we may collect basic technical information such as your browser type, device, and pages viewed. This is used to keep the site working and understand what visitors are looking for.
2. Phone Calls and Call Recording
We may not be able to answer every call ourselves, particularly when we are with clients or the salon is closed. Calls that we cannot answer may be handled by an automated virtual receptionist provided by a service provider working on our behalf. It can answer questions about our services, take a message, and send you a booking link by text.
These calls are recorded and transcribed so that we can see what you asked for and follow up properly. The recording is disclosed at the start of the call. If you would rather not speak to an automated assistant, you can hang up and call back during salon hours, or email us instead.
Recordings and transcripts are kept for up to 30 days and then deleted. Encrypted backups may hold this information for up to 90 days before they are overwritten. Personal details are automatically removed from stored call data where our provider is able to identify them.
We do not sell recordings or transcripts, and we do not permit them to be used to train artificial intelligence models.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to book and manage your appointments, to answer your questions, to send confirmations and reminders, to match you with a stylist suited to the service you want, to take payment, to keep records our stylists need to look after your hair properly, and to improve how we run the salon.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
4. Text Messaging (SMS)
By providing your mobile number to Tulsa Hair Society, when you book an appointment, call the salon, or ask us to follow up, you agree to receive text messages from us at (918) 994-3273. Messages include one-on-one communication about your appointments, appointment confirmations and reminders, booking links, replies to questions you send us, and customer support.
Message frequency varies and depends on your appointments and inquiries. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP or CANCEL to any message to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us at (918) 994-3273 or salon@tulsahairsociety.com. Opting out of text messages does not affect your ability to call us or book an appointment.
Tulsa Hair Society does not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes. Mobile numbers you give us for text messaging are used only to send the messages described above, and are disclosed to no one outside Tulsa Hair Society except the messaging carriers required to deliver them.
We do not purchase, rent, or import phone number lists, and we do not text anyone whose number did not come to us directly.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information.
We share information only with the service providers we need in order to run the salon: our booking and payment provider, our telephone and messaging providers, our website host, and the provider that answers calls on our behalf. Each is permitted to use your information only to provide that service to us, and not for their own purposes.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect the safety, rights, or property of our clients, our staff, or the salon.
6. How Long We Keep Information
Appointment and client records are kept for as long as you are a client of the salon and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that your stylist has your history if you return.
Call recordings and transcripts are kept for up to 30 days and then deleted, with encrypted backups holding them no longer than 90 days.
Website technical information is kept only as long as needed to operate and secure the site.
You can ask us to delete information about you at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted storage, restricted access, and providers who are contractually required to protect it. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take it seriously and act quickly if something goes wrong.
8. Your Choices and Rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP or CANCEL. You can ask not to be contacted for anything other than a booking you have made.

9. Children
Our services are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Where we cut children's hair, we deal with a parent or guardian and their information is the parent's or guardian's.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version published on this page is always the current one, and the effective date at the top tells you when it last changed.
